All around my workspace is the treasure trove of goodies that I brought back from CKC Lancaster on Sunday. I have so many unfinished projects that my muse will be on duty for a while, but that's okay. It's gonna be fun to get them done.
Here's the top of the workspace though.
Closer, closer....
You'll find a spur-of-the-moment project I had to do with a new Spellbinders die that I picked up. It's Spiral Blossom One. Cut it, roll it and it looks like a flower. I thought I try my hand at making a flower to sit on top of a pen for my desk. A friend inspired me to Shop My Stash (a challenge to use what we have!) So this flower is for the Shopping Our Stash #62. I used some old Stampin Up Petals and Paisleys paper, butterfly and dragonfly charms and stem wrapping tape... all gathering dust in my stash.
And the result of forming the flower, perching it on top of a pen, then taping a wire with charms on it to the pen.
Now, I'll have a pretty pen on my desk. Back to the unfinished projects....
Check out Julia's blog if you want to visit other desks of the world. Enjoy!

Hi Cindy,
I'm glad you showed us what that die ends up looking like. Love your pen! I bet no man in the house will walk away with it!

Woohoo, I'm only running a day behind this week! It is only Thursday, right? lol I've been wondering about the die you used to make that flower, contemplating purchasing it...does it make making that flower super easy or just a little easier, can you say? Do love how the flower turned out...Well, I'm still playing with and discovering what I can do with the stash you sent me so I probably shouldn't even be thinking about buying anything anytime soon! :) Have a great weekend, we're almost there. :)

looks like it turned out fairly well. The charms are very pretty.
Oh that is pretty - would make great stocking gifts. I LOVE the petals paper, the green and turquoise together really work for me! Shop your stash huh. Yes please. YOUR stash that is!
Gorgeous flower, Cindy! I love that die and I'm checking out all your charms, too! ;)
Fun flower! I have a bunch of the MFT rolled flower dies, but right now I'm loving the hand-cut versions.
Sorry I didn't make it up to Lancaster, but I'm probably better off for not going. I would have been enabled to need things I don't need. ;/
great project for the What was I thinking challenge...love to see you use that kind of stuff up in a great and practical way!
How cute is this! Great idea! Thanks so much for joining us at Shopping Our Stash this week!
