Kitty and the Mermaid

I'm supposed to be working on something else, so I didn't commit to Unity's Friends with Flair blog hop (but you can still do the tour here.) Then, I felt bad that Sparky the kitty wasn't getting his 15 minutes of fame today so I threw this together quickly. It's actually been an idea simmering in my brain for a while, so I'm glad to get it out of the idea bank to make room for something else up there. Hee hee.

Okay, so Sparky's dreaming again about being the favorite pet of a mermaid queen. Imagine a cat that likes water! I tried making him a little bubble helmet to wear but I didn't like how it came out so he'll just have to dream that he can breathe under water!

Unity stamps: Kitty (Hugs and Kitties), mermaid (Elena Seaside by Suzi Blu)
Ippity stamps: Sentiment (Fishy Philosophy)
Paper: DP (Daydreams by KandCo)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Black (Memories), watercolor pencils (Generals), Copic markers
Other: Rhinestone stickers (Recollections), crystal stickers (Mark Richards), scallop border punch (SU), green ball chain

Thanks for coming by for no reason at all!

Eeek, this is SUPER cute, Cindy! I LOVE the way you think! LOL That leash is very clever and the dp is crazy perfect! I'm thinking I'd like to live in Sparky's world. I sure hope you got your 'other' project done. ;)

I forgot to mention how awesome that sentiment is for the scene! :D

What a fun scene! I never would have considered the combo, yet it totally works! Love the green ball chain "leash" too -- so fun!

This is so cute! You have a great imagination and then the talent to actually make it come "alive" on paper.

Love the whimsical and fun design of your card. The little head-piece on the mermaid is too cute.
