It helps if you read the directions....

SUPPLIES: Car stamp (Authentic Man by Ippity), DP (Road Map by October Afternoon), rub-on letters (Creating Keepsakes), heart punch (Emaginations), notebook punch (Stampin Up), Tuxedo Black ink (Memento), Copic markers

So, I came across Unity's Sketch Challenge and the card I made today was born from that idea. I needed to make a card for my 88 year old in-laws to celebrate the new car they bought! They are quite a pair. Still active and enjoying life... and now in a new car. Lol.

Anyway, I finished the card and went to go link it up and found out that it has to use a stamp from the Kit of the Month. Oh well. So I saw that they are also hosting another challenge using hearts.... hearts that are anything but red or pink. Oh well. Finally, I found out that there's a current Ippity challenge to make a CAS (clean and simple) card. I did use a car stamp from Ippity's Authentic Man set and I did keep it somewhat simple. So it's decided.

Next time, I'll read the challenge directions a little more closely. Lol.

Have a great day.... *smile*

Whoops - great card even if you couldn't submit it to the challenge you intended

I do this ALL THE TIME! I've since given up on entering challenges, and just use the ideas to make a card. Way easier and less pressure. :)

It's a nice card - even though it doesn't qualify for the challenges. I've never entered cards into a challenge -- maybe I should try.

Happy Sunday!
Hugs,

Well I think it is perfect for the Ippity challenge!! So glad you played along. I love how the car is "busting" out of the background! Great job!
