FWF and a Peachy Layout

(Sorry for the late post....Blogger was down....)

Is it really Friends with Flair again? Wow, I must be having fun because time is flying! Lol. School year calendars do that, don't they? One ds is finished with his sophomore year in college and another ds is coming to the end of his sophomore year in high school. Spending lots of afternoons rooting his lacrosse team on... But I'll always sneak in some time to make something for Unity's Friends with Flair blog hop.

I have a dear sweet elderly aunt that has onset Alzheimer's so she recently moved into an assisted living situation. My mom is trying to add pictures and things to make it homier so I'm sending her this card with lots of love inside. The images are from last month's Kit of the Month and the sentiment is from Unity's set called Sending My Love.

SUPPLIES: Paper: Romantic Collage (Provo Craft), stripes (Stack II-DCWV); Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Copic markers; Other: Cloud die (My Favorite Things)

Today also happens to be my Featured DT day on the Let's Get Peachy blog. I chose to do doodle stitching   on a layout. The step-by-step guide to how I put this together can be found over at LGP today. It's fun to take some old pictures and finally showcase them. Scrapbooking is a great hobby that I'm getting back into. How great is it that I can look at this and be instantly transported back to a winter vacation when my boys were young and silly? Love that! I rarely use stamps on a layout so I'm happy that these Lawn Fawners worked with the theme.

SUPPLIES: Stamps: Say Cheese by Lawn Fawn, Paper: Olivia Rose DP by K&Co, Other: Chipboard Alphas by Bazzill, Airmail twine by Cat's Pajamas , DMC floss, eyelets

Thanks, as always, for dropping by. I hope that this coming week, you'll consider joining me for What's on Tap Tuesday where we link in our workspaces for a little look see...

Have a great day!

*smile*

Love that folding card, and the idea of stringing eyelets on the twine is superb. Oh, how many eyelets could I consume that way.
