WOYWW #100 and WOTT #4

Welcome to another episode of What's on Your Workspace Wednesday (UK version) and What's on Tap Tuesday (US version)! I'm a hybrid crafter in that I use a computer to generate my own sentiments at times. I've put a toe in the digital pool. I'm hoping to do a little more investigating soon since I've invested in some fun tools (right, Brenda?) I was just going to give you a shot of my computer at work but I snuck in a shot of my messy desk, too, as well as shots of my tri-shutter get well card.

I made a card for my dad this morning because he is presently in surgery and this keeps me spiritually in touch with him and I'll put the card in the mail later. (Your prayers are appreciated!) There's a bit of a double entendre here. Two allusions. One, I wish him a speedy recovery and I've always loved this retired set by Stampin Up called In the Wild. And, two, for some reason, he calls my mom, Cheetah, from time to time so I thought he'd like that tie-in. If you'd like to peruse the Stampin Up catalog and you live in the US, here's a LINK to my friend, Brenda's site. So much fun packed into that catalog, I'm telling you!

Have a great day. I hope you let us see what you're up to, what you're working on and what fun products you're using by linking in below. Oh, and the question of the day is: Traditional, hybrid or digital---what's your style?

*smile*

What a fun card! and I sure hope your dad has a super speedy recovery :)
I am a traditional scrapper/cardmaker, but have been known to do some computer-generated journaling on my scrapbook pages and would LOVE to learn some Photoshop Elements tricks with some of the fun digital elements and brushes that are on the market. I love Ali Edwards digital frames and overlays.

I'm not even vaguely hybrid just now..but will be learning soon...as the queen of procrastinators that may be more a threat than promise! YOur cared will make your dear Dad smile, I love it - wishing him easy days to follow. Now is it me, or is the keyboard on your laptop quite teeny or am I just hopelessly out of date. Wait..no need to answer that...

Now THIS is a desk I can love. Except I see you have room for your paper trimmer on your desk, where mine sits in my lap, so never mind.

Cindy, I hope your dad does well and recovers faster than a cheetah can fun! Your card is fantastic and I can't help but drool over that textured border... is it distressed or does it only look distressed?! Either way, it's awesome and I've never seen anything like it.

another great peek! I'm mostly a traditional card maker. I do use digi images quite frequently but colour by hand. That may be about to change though as I got a Wacom Bamboo tablet at the end of March...haven't used it yet but hope to once this weekend goes by.
