On Weds, Feb 29th, I teased you by showing you my Weds. workspace without showing the card that resulted. Sorry, but I had to keep it under wraps for my friend, Leslie's Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) challenge over at Splitcoast.
The VSN was last night so here's the sample card I made.
Since spring was the overall theme for this VSN, she asked for some type of "spring" to be included on the card. Well, rabbits "spring," don't they? So I used the cutie patootie bunny from Paper Smooches' Spring Fling set and little picture hanging wire that was coiled up to represent his bouncy path through that glittery forest of leaves (Die Cuts with a View Songbird stack). To make the coil, all you do is wrap the wire around a pencil.
The sentiment works perfectly in more ways than one. I'm glad that the words fit just right inside those Stampin Up oval punches.
Now.... I couldn't resist decorating the inside of the card because Leslie was also celebrating her birthday this past weekend. Let me tell you, I didn't have a separate carrot stamp so I had to get creative with the placement of the carrots in the basket so that the bunny's face wouldn't show! Lol. The Martha Stewart basket punch (that was on my workspace on the 29th) was a bargain purchase so I was happy to put it to use. I even used an old basket weave stamp to add a little interest.
Thanks for reading this far. I can't wait to get back to the desk to create more. Hope you're inspired, too.

Aw, thanks! And VSN was a blast! Thanks SO MUCH for making this, and for sending it to me!
I had to look back at the rabbit to see what you meant about carrot placement. I totally get it now, and appreciate the effort! xo
