Hey 19!

That Steely Dan song comes to mind today as it is son #1's 19th birthday. He's a fan of the University of Texas so I had to make him a card that used a cute Amuse stamp that I picked up just for times like these. It's, in my opinion, a baby longhorn and UT's mascot is Bevo the Longhorn. Frugal tip #1: shop your stash. I used patterned paper that came from a DCWV (Die Cuts With a View) Photo Stack that I bought a few years ago. Frugal tip #2: Get on the mailing list of craft companies you like. In the case of Amuse Stamps, the monthly newsletter usually offers a couple of stamps at a low price of $2.
